This is Quayside. Belongs in that that thread.

The general thread is here:

Looks like this belongs to Block 2......
Thanks, I copied post there too. Based on the fencing, I think it may be both Blocks 1 and 2.

I will post the demo pictures in quayside.

Okay just one here.

Mofer Coffee is now open in the Daniels building along QQE. I know that people don’t like the looks of the building but they have planned well for retail and institutional tenants. Except for the signature corner unit they are pretty much full.

The podium is just fine, it's the damned towers that are - to be kind - so 'boring'. I think the Mofer opened in the ex-Starbucks spot beside the Royal Bank.

Very nice to see Redpath be a good neighbour and do something with that strip - I used to bike by it every day on my way to work and it was just sod before. Hopefully they install some kind of barrier to keep the pups out!

Some new landscaping outside the Redpath sugar factory went in this weekend. Saw two different dogs peeing/pooping in it on my short walk past 😬

The shrubs to the right of the images are a variety of Yew...........they are susceptible to dog urine damage.

The yellow tinged shrub appears to be a Euonymous probably Japanese Spindle? (dog urine resistant)

The other 2 I'm less confident in because I can't see the leaves and/or petals to the degree of detail I would like. The pink could be azalea or something else in the rhododendron family.

The short stuff on the left and mixed through looks a bit like Foxglove to me.......but not confident, I would note Fox Glove is toxic to dogs if ingested.

The displays already looks a bit roughed up next to the sidewalk I would definitely recommend an ornamental fence to discourage trampling by people/dogs and any other associated issues.

Failing that, edging along the sidewalk with river rock would provide a buffer of sorts and likely be uncomfy to many pets too.

I used to walk my dog on that grass section all the time. If you’re going to fence it off for dogs, which I agree with, then add a very small section for dogs. I like how everyone pushes the problem off their property without a place for dogs to relieve themselves. A small 4’x8’ piece of artificial grass would be perfect. A fake camera for the non compliant and a garbage can would be bonus.
