But I’ve heard through the grapevine that BestCo has pulled out of Peter and Adelaide. Sure hope what I heard is wrong but from what I can see through the windows, no fit out work has been going on.

I hope that's not the case. If so, perhaps they became worried about competition from the new No Frills?

Very smart to get the Edward street location open BEFORE the "Tax holiday" ends.
Grand opening specials on anything that would normally be taxable would be nice.
Good timing. A discounted price, plus no tax is a great way to get people in!!!

Very excited for the new T&T on Edward. It's going to save me a lot of trips to College/Spadina and Chinatown East! Cannot fathom how busy this location is going to be.

If I'm getting this, you're asking about the supermarket space on Peter.

I haven't heard anything new, but I expect it's still a go.

They ( Bestco) have only just started fit-out up at Mirvish.

Where their timeline slipped, repeatedly, by several months.

So they're just not a fast mover it would seem.

Beats me..........I wouldn't want to sit on a shell space for which I am paying rent..........but that's me.
