You're right, they did! I somehow missed that. I prefer it to be honest, but it seems a strange choice in an age where traditional "TV" is less of an emphasis for companies such as Rogers. I'm just surprised someone in the boardroom didn't say "...no, no we can't have TV in the name again, as we offer a multi-platform screen service via various different distribution means. The brand is City."

CityTV and OMNI have left the building. They've moved to Rogers' 1MP campus as of today. A bit of a hole in Sankofa.

HNIC's studios were moved from the CBC to 1MP a few years ago too. They really seem to be consolidating it all there.
I'd think TMU would be the most interested party in the "Torch" site.

The former Yonge & Dundas City/Omni building is going to be occupied by TMU (aka Ryerson) students. Rogers is pitching in some funding for the University to occupy this space. How much is anyone's guess.
