Most of the parking lot remains unpaved, though they have sodded and planted trees around the perimeter. Perhaps this is a sign that phase 2 is happening soon.

Residential tower: Tenants are starting to move in (you can see grills and patio furniture on the balconies).

Medical office: Playground and a bike repair station has been installed next to the building.

Pedestrian bridge: The bridge truss that will span 16th avenue is on site.

That is quite the ramp. Too bad they couldn't connect that side directly to the cancer centre.

The pedestrian bridge across 16 avenue was completed at the end of November. I finally got around to seeing it and took some pics:

Nice to see the overpass open. I'm disappointed the northside is stairs instead of a gradual ramp, but I'll take it. I'm assuming handicapped access can get down via an elevator through that end door?

What a garbage design for a bike ramp. Good luck with not banging your handle bars against the picket railing. Saw they added some trays for this on existing ped ramps and they are completely unusable on the other ones I’ve seen. Maybe this one is wider but the retrofit ones I saw were unusable trash

Exactly. I don't know what they were thinking when they designed that part.

What makes them unusable trash? Ive used the tray style ones in Sweden and they seem to work just fine
