I love how we're seeing two personalities in Marda Loop. The quaint wood cladded, funky buildings along 34th, and the modern builds along 33rd.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this would be the first hotel built in essentially all of West Calgary outside of Currie/Tsuutina!

I'm surprised Truman hasn't proposed one for West District.

Apparently so. There used to be a hotel up in Westbrook area, but I can't think of any others in that west central part of the city.

I’ve heard this is the last Leonard group project in marda loop. I think the owners plan on running this hotel and retiring. They have had a good run. Hopefully I’m wrong.

The proof of concept is there; someone could definitely try to copy what they've created. Who did those homes off 14th Street on 29th Ave?

If no one else does it, I'm really glad I live within walking distance, and the Main Streets are done. When the apartment across the street finishes, it will be even better.
