I think the only time I've been (slightly) frustrated by bike lanes as a driver is that no-right-on-red sign by the old Children's hospital at 17th & Richmond Road- it's there for the safety of cyclists in the bike lane, but I don't think I've ever seen a cyclist there. Other than that, no complaints. Build more!

But I think if I was a driver in Toronto and saw lanes taken away from already-congested Bloor St, then I might feel differently.
For context, Bloor is one of the main East West connectors for all of downtown and with the bike lanes and parking spaces, it’s essentially a single lane, with occasional dedicated lane for left turns. I can see the argument there, but that literally is not remotely the case with our bike lanes.
