Some people's word on here is as strong as oak, for you Jerry Maguire fans. It is always appreciated when they chime in. I won't name them but they're seemingly in the know. I think the concern stemmed from the fact that the site has been cleared for a loooooong time. This being Calgary, we're well used to projects being put on hold or cancelled at the last minute, and this is Cantiro's first highrise and most ambitious project AFAIK.
Got to see the driller in action today. It's real and it's spectacular!

As surprised as anybody to see this actually u/c. Now have this plus the lacaille tower u/c nearby plus residential conversions in basically every direction from here in what was previously a dead area of downtown.
Damn, Spring beat me to it.
