Absolutely nothing like the rendering. Catfish. ASI, Truman....all con men IMO. They create these amazing glitzy renderings were zero plan of actually building what they sell. This will be another dogshit cookie cutter spandrel condo.

You guys realize that spandrel is just the opaque panel that covers the floor slab or interior partitions right? Spandrel can be glass, metal or another cladding type and is common on curtain and window wall assemblies.

I always think of spandrel as only spandrel glass, but yeah I guess it could be any material.
 
IRL it doesn't seem horrible. I'm surprised by the lack of vision glass but otherwise, like Zoom said, it could be a lot worse. I'll take spandrel over dumpster quality aluminum any day.View attachment 736441View attachment 736440
Wtf this looks so ugly? Nothing like the rendering. Im going to be so pissed if my upper unit doesn't have the floor to ceiling curtain windows that were in the rendering….
 
I wasn’t expecting it to look like rendering, for me it’s roughly what I expected, which is a typical high rise filler.

No, probably not. The ‘Truman trio’ are more for out of town investors using Truman as the local developer compared to their usual developments. I could be mistaken, but that’s what it looks like.
 
Hope the first two stories is a good material. Full brick is pricey AF ($55-75pf, installed), so hoping it is a huge tile panel and not ACM. If i were the City, i would set clear standards for podium material to create a defined streetscape. Or get whatever you get through value engineering between DP and BP.
