Everytime I see this one, I feel bad for those houses whose back decks now face a blank wall, and who will maybe get an hour of sunlight per day. I'm in favour of this kind of densification overall so I'm not complaining, but oof this must suck.

Granted this is a pretty old set of townhomes but this just is a demonstration of wasting front setback to the detriment of the backyard (or lack thereof).
