The fencing has been up for over a week actually. I had took a pic the other day because I got excited, but then I had seen more than once, cars parked there and a loader bringing pallets over to loft. So I'm pretty sure they're just using it as secured parking for the workers building Loft. They must have had some break-in incidents or something.

Yeah I took the photo a while back but forgot to post! I do hear lost of work being done inside the building whenever I walk by, so many they’re just salvaging some stuff inside before they demo it? Not sure

I was wrong, definitely ongoing interior demo work. Signage removed today as well.

I think it's a decent enough design. 24 floors isnt tall enough to stand out in the skyline, so an understated design is fine imo. My only gripe is the podium, which would help better define the street wall if it was a floor or two higher.

as available 4th st frontage disappears im more confident the broadway project may happen.
i am confident the Broadway project will happen. Vesta is pouring a massive amount of promotion and marketing into the project (even without a DP submitted yet) and if it goes ahead it will be by far their highest profile project ever.

They're moving quick. Already digging??
