Are you referring to the sidewalk along 104 Ave, or sidewalks within the district itself? The property owner recently put in new raised crosswalks in the parking lot west of 116 Street, but the eastern side with the Shell and Safeway is still a pedestrian wasteland. I'd love to see improvements there.Upcoming improvements in the Brewery District area will include new asphalt pavement and sidewalk Penhancements as part of the LRT west extension project.
As far as I'm concerned, Brewsters can pack up their 3 remaining stores and sub-par food and beer product and move back to YYC. We have enough of our own Breweries - perhaps one of them can set up shop in their current DT location. Perfect for another Shiddy's / Sea Change Rumpus Room concept.Technically Unity Square, but Brewsters is moving out of their huge brewpub space along 116th and taking over Beer Revolution (Brewsters owns beer rev). I’d imagine Brewsters doesn’t need the brewing set up since most of their brewing is in Calgary, but that space will be an interesting opportunity for someone else to move into!
Brewsters food is very take it or leave it, but their peach ale is sooooo good.As far as I'm concerned, Brewsters can pack up their 3 remaining stores and sub-par food and beer product and move back to YYC. Wait what?! They are considered an YEG based beer producer and make their beer in the YEG location. As you eluding that they "farm" out their beer production to a different brewery in a different city?^ Doesn't Sea Change farm out a lot of their beer production (outside the city) these days?
Yes, "alluding," thanks for that. Well as long as production stays north of Red Deer - I am ok with this.....happy they got Costco!!!!!*Alluding, but yes, I've heard some of their beer production is contracted out to other breweries. I've heard it's been for a while now, since they got the deal with Costco
You might be out of luck from one reference I just found:Yes, "alluding," thanks for that. Well as long as production stays north of Red Deer - I am ok with this.....happy they got Costco!!!!!
