^ They won't let me shoot inside. Same goes for Old City Hall and lots of other buildings. Very disappointing because I like shooting interiors but security these days is a lot tighter than it used to be.

Long time Spadina retailer Paul Magder is leaving this location and setting up elsewhere. He was a long time champion of sunday shopping and his legal battles with the province almost bankrupted him. There is an application in to convert this property to a single family dwelling.

Was the prexisting building not named The Salvation Army "HARBOUR LIGHT"?

If the above is so, it would explain the "aura", which is presented.
