Always a thrill to photograph royalty, isn't it?
My experience was 51 years ago when The Queen was greeted by IBM employees at Don Mills & Eglinton.

Wow, that's great! I worked at the IBM Software Lab in the new red brick building just west of there, before we moved up to Warden and the 407. 50 years too late!

Oh wait, when I look at the photo again, I realize I WAS there, just under the IBM sign (with my apologies to Goldie, and to Woody Allen and all the work he did on Zelig):

I'd love to see something Distillery District-esque done with the Redpath site one day.

While I'd support that idea if Redpath was to close eventually, I'd rather have it remain a functioning sugar refinery. I especially love watching the ships arrive, it's quite a sight.
