Since Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos supports Trump, i suggest Canadians buy local instead of buying from a bigot.

Amazon just screwed Quebec

Unfortunately, one of the Canadian options and genuine Canadian tech success stories, seems somewhat disloyal to Canada.

Well.ca is Canadian-owned again, and I use them occasionally. Other than general pharmacy stuff, they sell a lot of specialty foods. You can restrict your search to Canadian products. Healthy Planet is another good choice.

Vitamart is great if you buy vitamins and supplements. Their prices are often competitive with Amazon, or lower.

Also yesterday I ordered a box cutter from Canadian Tire and they actually had it delivered within a couple of hours through Door Dash. That's quite a change from the poor experience I had before.

Though I would like to avoid Amazon, it is actually almost the only fairly straightforward way to buy lots of items at fairly reasonable prices without a huge amount of time spent searching and comparing and then picking-up.

I haven't used Amazon in 10 years and some how managed to survive. Everything i can get is located in Toronto. I can't even think of something that i need that is only available on Amazon?
