Approx. ~2,100 units, up from 1,519 in an earlier submission -- which is an increase of 38%.

Not seeing anything in the settlement-offer that relates to "Affordable Rental" units.

They are open to providing that as a Community Benefit, should the City request that.

Oh c'mon now, we all know that green is a place holder for gray panels (or if we're lucky black panels).

The standard Toronto bait and switch for depressing colour happening in 3...2...1
Why would that be the case? Are grey panels cheaper?

Please don't get my hopes up. I'm cautiously optimistic that this project will be a turning point!

Lets not pre-judge on that here.........Choice is only now getting to its first residential build............Ralph (architect here) is behind the Whitfield which did keep its vibrant colour.

In this case, not likely.

Certainly cladding (exterior appearance) is often value-engineered or cheapened as a project proceeds, the 'sexy' render used to get approval, or perhaps pre-construction condo sales......... then, that done, you cut down on costs to maximize profit.

However, the broader issue of use of colour, particularly vibrant or distinctive colour tends to be more about conservative taste/risk aversion.

Dramatic choices can be divisive; they can drive sales.......or tank them. Investors in pre-construction condos are often thought to be sensitive to the risk....

So developers often tone down designs with dramatic flare, not just to save money but because they prefer a 'safe' choice.

I'm not going to hold my breath on this, but that's the kind of optimism I like
