Quite a lot of progress over 1.5 months.
Maybe, but it's almost done. Anyways on bit of logic is it was probably overbuilt for future capacity issues.Likely not a popular comment but this bridge is way overbuilt. 3 lanes each way plus a shoulder the width of a lane. Having driven it every day this summer, we could have shaved either a lane or the shoulder and likely saved a good chunk of money. I do like the paths though, nice and wide. Will be nice when those are connected better.
Was thinking the exact same thing this week when I crossed it. Even with the width it is now it works pretty well.Likely not a popular comment but this bridge is way overbuilt. 3 lanes each way plus a shoulder the width of a lane. Had we reduced the size of the overpass, it would’ve been nice to use the extra funds to grade-separate 75th Street.Likely not a popular comment but this bridge is way overbuilt. 3 lanes each way plus a shoulder the width of a lane. Grade separation at 75th St is one of the most overlooked things imo. I do hope it gets done at some point in the not so distant future.Had we reduced the size of the overpass, it would’ve been nice to use the extra funds to grade-separate 75th Street.
