I’m assuming I’ll eventually need to present all of this when asked?
- First page of the Agreement of Purchase and Sale and any subsequent amendments, if any;
- Completed Release and Termination Agreement - dated, signed and witnessed (anyone other than the purchasers can be a witness); - this document was sent as a PDF attachment when they contacted me
- Government Issued Identification - for all Purchasers listed on the Agreement of Purchase and Sale and on any subsequent amendments;
- In case of Incorporation: Certificate and articles of incorporation, and Release and Termination Agreement to be signed by authorized person of incorporation;
- Copies of deposit amounts made; and
- Current contact information – including address you wish for the deposit cheque to be mailed;
So far, I initially rejected the new amendment and received a response from KSV stating that my decision had been noted. About a month later, I received an email from the developer, Elm Developments, claiming they hadn’t received a response and asking whether I intended to proceed with the property. I reiterated my decision to reject and cc’d my lawyer in that reply. Since then, I haven’t heard anything further.
