Really interested and happy to see the forward planning encompasses the entirety of the city. Tad bit funny how some of the areas set to get Higher Order or Züm are rural areas. I’m a little surprised that the McLaughlin corridor is only set to get priority transit south of Queen, and that...

I agree. As the artic fleet continues to age (oldest batch of artics are now 13 years of age. Their peers tend to retire them after 12-15 years of service, but I understand that they plan on going the full 18, at least for now) I would assume there will be an increased demand for more Züm...

I’m aware of that, I just kind of phrased what I mean a little weirdly, my bad, thank you though! More or less, this is what I was referring to! Definitely also makes a lot of sense! Anyways, the service changes took place today, and from what I have seen, riders don’t seem to be adjusting...

Speaking of that, is one of the reasons it’s going to Bramalea GO supposed to coincide with the beginning of 2-way all day GO service?

I suppose something of the sorts would work. Although, there are active plans for a Bramalea Züm in the coming years (iirc from Mayfield Road to either Bramalea GO or the Airport), so that extension wouldn’t be as necessary

Dashed lines don’t usually mean anything when it comes to level of service. The dashed lines are usually to differentiate the “A”, formerly “B” , “C”, and “D” branches from the main route. But to answer your question, 4C will operate daily.

Hopefully MiExpresses’ map was suffice! But Brampton Transit has since added route maps for all affected routes

I’m guessing due to the scale of the service changes, Brampton Transit will have staff at various impacted locations, notifying people of the service changes over the coming days. These include Mount Pleasant GO, Cassie Campbell CC, Heart Lake Terminal, and Brampton Gateway Terminal. Here is...

For the 17 I believe a southbound trip was added at 2:41 pm, northbound service was tweaked to match bell times at North Park I think? Although it’s not a very busy route, I’m surprised they didn’t just restore it back to 20 minutes As for the 20, these two trips are new, since service ends...

Remembering the ASP from this year, it looks to me like the implemented some of the short, medium and long term plans, which sort of surprises me. Like take the 4 for example, the long term plan was the one that was supposed to have it extended to Clockwork Drive, or even the 28, Wanless wasn’t...

September 2nd service changes have been announced. They seem to be introducing some of the changes into Northwest Brampton this year to get people ready. Not a fan of the 4/4A change or the new 4C. Especially since the 28/28A’s frequency does a lousy job making up for it. They didn’t mention...

Looks like the CUPE 831 strike in November had quite an effect on ridership that month. Happy to see that ridership overall in the year grew nonetheless!

Effective today, Route 31A McVean has entered service due to construction on Goreway. Its routing is pretty similar to the old routing of the 31, using Castlemore and Goreway, instead of McVean. Changes were also made to the 31 McVean. Here are schedules, more info, as well as a route map...

    Brampton Transit/Zum

Okay, after contacting Brampton Transit, they said this route, route 31A McVean is not yet in service, guessing they meant to add it for the next board period. I wonder how fleet numbers will change due to this massive order. Also, any idea if the 38 NovaBus order is still on the table...

    Brampton Transit/Zum

For some reason, most schedules tools show that there was the addition of a 31A McVean in the last set of service changes, I’m not entirely sure of why it wasn’t announced, if it was meant for the next board period or if it actually operates. It seems like the routing is similar to the old 31...
