    Has anyone seen the architects reasoning for the red? As it gets further to completion it feels like it’s a reference to the Gatineau hills in the fall with the blue being the sky (which is maybe why the colour transition is more abrupt) - but maybe I’m out to lunch?

    Looks like the same brick combo as royale 🙄 I don’t really understand how they can look at royale and think ‘wow that looks great, we should do it again’

    It definitely feels out of place, but there’s a quirkiness to it that I think gives the area character (something that the couple blocks of Richmond west of island park severely lacks)

    Those blank, inconsistently coloured precast panels look terrible. Might’ve looked ok if they got rid of those panels and carried the checkerboard window/balcony pattern all the way to both edges. I also can’t get over how depressing the street level looks
