I don't see the government changing their plans and bending the alignment downwards. Metrolinx originally owned the factory that sits on Lamont and they sold it a few years ago, I doubt they would have done that if the plan was to move the GO station south.

Republic initially wanted to sell this project, now out of the blue the Ontario government is investing 178 million into it. Someone give it to me straight, does this smell more like a bailout or a genuinely good opportunity for the Ontario government?

The one bright spot of Finch and Eglinton being built over Sheppard first is that it allows the citizenry to see for themselves why Sheppard needs to be done correctly.
