That's the way things seem to work, sadly. Hopefully the property is sold to someone that will put in the effort to try to at least make it look historic.

Critique aside, it's still really nice to see things happening in Hamilton, after decades of very little. Doesn't mean we should just accept crap because the alternative is nothing. But it's been great to see changes.

I think I was still in university in the mid-1990s when I heard someone use the word "Hammer" for Hamilton (and this person was originally from Scarborough). I don't think it had anything to do with hammers... just a play on "Ham" So it feels like commentary on it has been a search for meaning...
