Laughing at the renderings -- the ION light rail has been replaced with old commuter trains from France or Germany. They're about to crash into cars on the street.

Looking at the pictures, I'm hoping it's not just wood superficially wrapped around steel beams. Is it? It would be a shame if the wood is just for show. Or are we just seeing two steel framed truss "cores" going up the height of the building, surrounded by fully wood-beam structures around...

Currently they are requesting an exemption, so they would not need to preserve the existing office/commercial space that's on the site. This would mean the elimination of many medical clinics and health science organizations that are currently in the 8-story building. This is a key location...
