That's what they're doing. Every World Cup does this.

For the north stands, they'll incorporate access to the Food Building's washrooms. Expect porta potties in the south.

I've had even better luck, never more than 5 minutes. To be fair, I've only ridden the line about 10-15 times.

Grass has also already been installed in Atlanta. The US plays two games there over the next few days, and the MLS team has had at least one game on it.

Accessible seating will go in there, since a percentage of the overall seating capacity has to be accessible according to Ontario law. The CSA is already selling tickets in that area for the upcoming friendlies.

Where do New England and New York/New Jersey fit into that list? Both are artificial turf, open air stadiums in the northeast. The latter is hosting the final.

Many of those high schools spend that kind of money on those stadiums yet their teachers are buying school supplies with their own money. Sometimes priorities are misplaced. Although Dougie seems to want to emulate that system, without the spiffy stadiums to gloss over the other problems.

If you were there a bit early you could have caught Toronto FC doing a training session there today. Lots of photos floating around from inside the stadium now. These are taken from Twitter (credit John Molinaro, Waking The Red and Toronto FC).

Adding to the above: This isn't the first time they've put temporary seating in that spot.

$950 million spent in renos and they'll still keep the ridiculous seating layout for baseball. But at least the roof will be nice 50 years later.

I've seen half a dozen soccer games at the Big O over the past 15 years and several hundred at BMO. My opinion is informed by experience.

And it'll still be better to see a game at BMO.

The seats in the middle that make up the white maple leaf and surrounding red square are brand new, so I assume that they will be there for the tournament as well. IIRC, there was never any other branding on that side of the stadium.
