Well, it's great that it is right across from the most crime-ridden drug dealer drug-dealer-infested social housing buildings in all of the GTHA (4175 Lawrence Ave East). I wonder if that can be worked into the marketing somehow......... There will be a lot of opportunities to watch crack heads...

I don't expect any affordable housing will be included or it will be made part of the underground river that flows through that area. Likely the developer will buy their way out of building affordable units by filling Doug's slush fund with water from the river!

I hope they keep those large boulders from the beautification program too. They were found in the area during the program and should be kept a part of the landscape. Also, I was told at one time they couldn't put a building here because of an underground river. This could make for an interesting...

Why is there a height limit of about thirteen stories in this area? We could easily accommodate 30 or 40 stories and start taking the pressure off the downtown core.

The Eglinton East LRT won't happen for another decade, and it will be a decade late and a billion over budget like the Eglinton crosstown. . Doug Ford has no interest in it since it doesn't involve highways of the downtown core.

If this is a modernization of a historic building, then why has it been completely torn down and wiped out? I guess modernization these days means making a fake replacement facade for a building that used to be there.
