    St Lawrence Market

you said LOCAL like it was so important, so as a LOCAL I must QUALIFY my opinion. Not all locals are happy with the street being blocked off for 10 months of the year, so stop implying that is the truth. The street can be used by cars on weekdays and pedestrianized on weekends. See? This...

    St Lawrence Market

Market Street is a useful transit route not just a poser's palace. AS A LOCAL - the traffic moving THROUGH the AREA as opposed to at STANDSTILL in the area is much more desirable. AS A LOCAL born at St Mike's and resident for DECADES, I do regard myself as being just as important as those who...

    St Lawrence Market

well received by the local community? Really? So locals are happy with the backlog on Front, Jarvis, all the way down to the on-ramp? I don't think so, hence the police on point duty during "rush" hour. All those cars are full of people who have done a day's work and want to go home, do they...

the gates at Corktown Common have been open for a few weekends lately, allowing cyclist/hikers access to the work area (informally, of course).

    How to solve homeless issue?

The lack of consequences is part of the problem. Not referring to jail but the fact that everyone just takes this crap, never says anything in response. Nothing wrong with letting someone know their sh*t belongs to them and they ought to keep it to themselves.

98 The Esplanade Does anyone know what is happening to this commercial property? They have been tearing it apart for weeks. They threw out the lockers from the former gym last evening and now they have a digger going in and out with cement blocks.

Post your pictures of Toronto here!

I've seen them in the Corktown Common playground in September, so much construction means they hide until they feel no one is around. The TD rabbit will have an interesting existence.

Toronto Toronto | St Lawrence Market North | 25.3m | 5s | City of Toronto | Rogers Stirk Harbour

It's a good thing the glass stayed in place! I was up on 5th floor on Sunday, lovely views (not sure how much attendees will appreciate them). I have to note the floor was very creaky, which in such a new building, is interesting. Also very good to note easily accessed by transit - another...
