Ugh... this is so disappointing as always. The open feel of the podium transition on the South to the neighbourhood is going to be lost and I am setting myself up for disappointment for the final landscaping plan from what once was... This would have been an amazing development on the doorstep...

I don't think its one or the other. It's not as if there aren't plenty of land use opportunities for height in the area and designating a historical area for the natural feel is worth preserving.

I'm ok with the original submission, same with the Churchill/Richmond Dev. But 27 floors is a little much.

I'm opposed to this tower at this location. We should be retaining the village feel of the main street through Westboro with focus on appropriate setback for low rise density along Richmond. As a local, I'm all for the Westboro Village development because it supports the needed units around mass...

I've worked in some pretty extreme climates and have never seen a slab without some kind of heat/hoard, certainly concerning.

I've come to wonder given our deteriorating relations with the US, if it would become more financially viable to see some office conversions to vertical farming to offset the import costs for produce we can't grow in Canada. 🤔

There is also integrated water/sewer project on Winona starting in March 2025 which will complicate things. I don't know if they will be allowed to stage on Churchill or not. I certainly don't like the prospect of allowing them to use Winona after the integrated project is done. Developers don't...

Looks like those sidewalk depressions at the South end of the building were poured low and they cut/profiled the the road to match (not shown in pics).... will be interesting to see how the grading works will tie-in when they do the integrated project next year. Otherwise, love the building. Did...
