I actually don't mind the look of it. It's a little strange, mainly because we don't have many buildings that look like that, but I think that people will eventually come to enjoy a different look from the rest of the skyline.

Right, so only one street has heavy foot traffic? They should continue the grid system here - it may be "boring" but it's incredibly easy to plan out and efficient for pedestrians if the blocks are small. The whole "single street with everything on it surrounded by a canyon of highrises" idea...

Collingwood has decently heavy tourist traffic due to Blue Mountain and the fact that the highway around Georgian Bay runs through the town, as I've been through a couple of times going to/from Wasaga Beach.
