My understanding is that even though UofA owns the land there really is no other association with the university (ie there is no student housing, instructional space, etc). It’s just a generic underwhelming residential/commercial project, not a public space.

The Onexation of WestJet is now complete. The new WestJet only shares the name of the old one.

That block needs some TLC. The Ramada’s lot is dirty and dilapidated. Hopefully the beehive brings some decent streetscaping.

Nice add for YEG. Allows me to move further away from WS. Flew Porter this week and was reflecting on their limited routes from YEG with some dismay. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

Regardless, the photo should have been captioned as a file photo for accuracy. My daughter, who rides the LRT daily, said that it hasn’t been that bad for a while. The system needs turnstiles and access needs to be limited to paying travelers, but that photo was misleading.
