so they removed the "windsor house coming soon" banners off of the fencing on the lot. has anyone heard anything from the developer if they're canceling? I wonder if they are trying to pull a change and increase the height significantly?

Yeah I get that, I am saying now they're just empty lots. I'd love to see more businesses open along this stretch of bloor, so the faster they develop these lots the better!

It is really unfortunate as so many of these lots on Bloor are just going to remain dead empty lots with no new businesses coming in. I would loveeee a big grocery store to open up on bloor along this stretch :(

is the city just holding off building any condos at this point? that stretch of Bloor (Prince Edward- Montgomery rd) seems like will take another 10+ years to see any new building go up :(

it seems that there's a proposal for 2888 Bloor St west (but the forum isn't working). They're planning on building a small 2 story building (Pilate store at grade level and 1 unit above) and a parking lot. a bit surprised by this mini development but at least it utilizes the site vs. it...

Holy! that is a massive change in proposal! I did see "For Lease" signs on some of the commercial spaces there! so it doesn't seem like this would move forward for several more years anyways!

It seems like there's no update on this one. I chatted with one of the workers hired by the developer and they said its pretty much halted for now. not sure what the plan is. issue is the house belonging to the builder that is boarded up is starting to become a hangout spot for drug users...

Does anyone have any information on what's happening with this building/ all the development proposals along bloor/ Royal york? Zero movement and just empty commercial spaces and empty lots.

does anyone know like what's actually going on here? the permits have been issued since 2022... are they just not going to build it? I see the builder's contractors go in and out of the house that they own (they indicated that its their construction site house on Humbervale).

There are units for sale but the builder doesn’t allow listing on MLS until the building is registered with the city. So it’s all listings on kijiji/ realtor’s networking.

Damn! That’s a while for construction 👀… but yeah it will look different for sure
