Pretty sure a new report came out recently scrapping the 25 km/h speed restriction for streetcars when crossing intersections (not including intersections with intersecting streetcar tracks, those are a speed restriction of their own) starting in late May. Wondering if that will be translated...

Do we know the radii of these two curves? I'm curious to find out which existing curves on the network are tighter.

This might've been addressed in the thread previously, but I had a question about the Royal Orchard-Bridge station realignment. Since it has been realigned to have a somewhat sharper curve, does that mean the trains will be going slower (like they do between Spadina-St George, St George-Museum...

Pretty sure the city doesn't have any control over that, especially because the TTC are just operators. Province is gonna look at that as them "wasting tax dollars" and shut it down immediately.

I think that as much flak as everyone gives Crosslinx, a larger maintenance window is something that they can be given allowance on. Still, why not have that larger maintenance window happen on a Sunday night instead of Saturday? Lines up better with the Monday-Friday 9-5ers, and the workers...

6 minutes longer than the initially advertised travel time is not close to where we were expected to get. 6 minutes is actually a substantial difference.

Wonderful logic, let's have service stop earlier on a Saturday night when people might be out and about rather than a Sunday night when most people are going to bed early because they have work tomorrow.

I think a big issue is that Quebec doesn't really return the courtesy, as others have said. Not just with transit announcements, but with signage in general (unlike in Ontario where provincial signage is always bilingual)

Has anyone times Finch West-Humber College with TSP at every intersection? Besides that, what, according to the City, still needs to improve for the line to go faster?

Not entirely sure who the decision rests with but when comparing our fare price with fare prices around the world, our system is very cheap. We should raise fares by at least 5 cents a year for the next 5-10 years. That goes a long way.

The problem is he'd be throwing his buddies under the bus too, even if the contract wasn't signed by his government.

Is there any way to pressure MX to reveal the contract signed? Or, is it up to the province (which will never agree to release it because they're implicated)?
