Is it possible this could be two buildings around 15-20 floors? One hotel tower at 20 floors, and a residential building around 25 floors.

All of those ideas are good @Beltline_B. Here in the city our river pathway is something that stands out to tourists, I hear it time after time. It's too bad there's that stretch of houses in Inglewood that front the river. It would be so great to have a well developed stretch of river pathway...

I wouldn't put much stock in those numbers. I'm not 100% confident the NDP will win, but it'll be closer than those numbers show. As Surrealplaces mentioned, it really comes down to Calgary and the distribution of support over various ridings.

As for HSR affecting YEG. It probably won't have much of an effect. Those who go YEG->YYC->* will keep doing so. Those who drive from YEG to YYC will keep doing so. some might take HSR to YYC, but it won't be a large amount. IMO, nothing changes for YEG. As for HSR to YYC-Banff, I agree with...

From what I’ve seen in person, they’re both turning out well, and both are very similar for the most part. The main difference is location, each site has its advantages, UD being closer into the city, WD being only a short hop from the mountains and the ring road.

Exactly. Billy Bishop is much closer to Pinnacle One than this is to YYC. Maybe in Toronto they got a relaxation a long time ago?

Calgary's condo market will probably stay on the flat side, but condos in good locations will do okay, and to me, this is a great location. There's been a ot of discussion about nearby LRT stations, but this location is also great for walking or cycling, with easy access to cycling...

Agreed. Brick makes a big difference, but for this building even the non-brick materials look good.
