I took this photo on the weekend. I'm not sure when this old sign was exposed but it hasn't been too long. Posting because I know some history buffs in Hamilton love this kind of stuff. Obviously James street at King.

I will take Ferguson once or twice a week and I went by today and the building permit is still in the window but it's a ghost town any time I ride by. There's nothing happening there.

Continues to rise. Curved balconies or not. There are preparations in place for something here.

Something similar but without roundabouts. A little crude but modifications could easily be made.

Yeah I was thinking something like that but I didn't consider roundabouts. It's a good idea. I was thinking standard traffic lights. Regardless, it could work. And as always I would say cycling infrastructure should be included.

Close to transit. Across from a little park. Walking to services including groceries. Perfect.

I walked by here last week and the fencing was not there. This pic is from an hour ago. Looks like something is starting.

Continues to grow. Main Street is such a hostile place. More of these and the two-way conversion can't come soon enough.

I know it would be a big budget project and it's mostly provincial but I would really love to see Aberdeen continue west-bound to Main st and the 403 on and off ramps reconfigured as that extension. It would take a lot of volume away from Longwood which right now is just a disaster for...

Please excuse my self-indulgent post. Taken from the outdoor Ringside patio while some kids played basketball on the patio also at art crawl. Hamilton was pretty vibrant this evening.

There are some parts of this street that are just full of garbage and debris. It definitely needs some love. The west side of the street is supposed to be getting an off street multi-use path connecting Burlington street to Cannon but that could be years away. 😞

Birch Ave between Barton and Burlington street is now fully painted and scheduled to open to two-way traffic tomorrow.
