Toronto Yonge-Dundas Square/Sankofa Square (Brown + Storey Architects)

Not when it comes to streets or squares, it's usually some random old communist. This would be Lenin Square or Revolution Square.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Okay, I was not imagining things when I drove on Avenue recently, it really did work well! As @Natika33 says I am wondering if setting the speed to let's say 25 km/h for the green wave on Adelaide and Richmond would help move cyclists and cars faster. Again, during rush hours only when the...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Maybe they can do this during rush hour on Richmond and Adelaide, will help car traffic as well imo, though I am sure someone with more knowledge of traffic engineering will tell me how I am wrong lol.

I also visited the Peter/Blue Jays Way bike lane upgrades, it looks pretty much done however, they forgot to move/remove parking signs here (just south of Richmond) further on Blue Jays way at Navy Wharf Ct the bike box for turning left is now gone.... for whatever reason... and there are...

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

Sure, that sounds safer to implement I guess too as there is just a new meaning added but everything else remains valid. Flashing green should not be a thing for advanced green then.

    East-West Water Shuttle Pilot

How often do the aquabuses come? From a quick Google it looks like every 15 minutes at least. I was more pointing out that every 1 hour is not really suitable for a commuter service.

    East-West Water Shuttle Pilot

Definitely not a commuter service lol: "As a starting point, shuttles will depart hourly and accommodate up to 12 passengers." That's nothing..... Good news is though: "Through the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Legacy Program, fares on FIFA World Cup 2026™ Toronto Match Days and weekends between June...

checked out the Portland bike lanes today Richmond now has a bidirectional bike lane from Portland to Augusta there are some potholes that need to be filled the traffic diverter seems to be working well, someone was resting on one of the Muskoka chairs I do assume these were not new...

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

I think green arrow should be redefined as permissive signals and flashing green arrow as priority. Of course that would need an education campaign.

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

So many signals and signs. Ontario needs to allow red and green arrows in whatever direction and redefine only flashing green to mean priority for turns/advanced green. And the transit signals should be actual transit signals, not red, yellow, green.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I think there needs to be an explicit other prescribed purpose announced. So at this point there is no other prescribed purpose officially written down. So #2 covers nothing. But at any time the government can explicitly state that "bus lanes" are a new explicit prescribed purpose for example...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I think that was with Bill 212, but with Bill 60 the wording is different and bike lanes removing car lanes are simply not allowed: "195.3 (1) Except as permitted by the regulations, a municipality shall not, by by-law or otherwise, reduce or permit a reduction in the number of marked lanes...
