Thanks, I agree with all your points, and I’m also very curious about the risk profile and the slope. One point of clarification: I agree that many people in our building are scared of losing their home. But I want to clarify that that’s not why I personally oppose the new building. I am a bit...

As I said earlier, I think the heritage stuff isn't worth arguing about because in the current climate, I don't think it will matter much at the OLT hearing. But, having an architecture critic proclaim something just is architecture (whatever that means) confuses opinion with fact. So even...

I am also confused by the buildings with a facade out front and then a tower that looks like a jack-in-the-box popped out. But re: 50 Park Rd: the developer publicly said that they were leaving it intact, but then in their application they wanted to build a a new connection from the ground...

This is a separate thing from the refusal … but I was confused by something in the application. The developers’ own geotechnical survey said that the soil is not suitable for a high-rise building. Is that a common, solvable issue? How would they build a high rise on a slope if the soil isn’t...

The developers were a joke at the community input meeting. Someone asked them if they were thinking of turning the former OAA headquarters into a retail space and the guy who answered gave a very long winded answer just to say … yes, they are considering retail in the OAA building. No one had...

Hi! Just checking to see if anyone here has heard anything more about this development. Still not seeing anything submitted on the city's permit website...

thanks! I can see who it is on the lobbyist registry - was just wondering if there were any minutes but it sounds like those aren't public

I've been trying to find the minutes from the meeting with Councillor Saxe but can't find those on the city council site. Do you know if those are available?

Sorry to ask what is probably a dumb question here -- but what do 42s and 28s mean here?

it is wild. I said 35 earlier but it's actually about 40 apartments. I can't imagine a developer starting a project that would tear down 40 single family homes in this area. But somehow so easy to discuss demolishing 40 apartments...
