An Official Plan Amendment has been submitted by 2827431 Ontario Inc. to the City of Toronto seeking to redesignate the subject site on the northwest corner of McCowan Road and Nugget Avenue from General Employment Areas to Mixed Use Areas. The proposal is being advanced on a land-use basis only and currently does not seek to establish standards for future development. The vision for the site, includes a variety of land uses and housing types in a pedestrian friendly, transit-oriented mixed-use community, as illustrated in the two tower development concept prepared by TAES Architect.
